When Ulrike Glos took over her father-in-law's communication agency in 1987, she was only 27 years old and had little experience in advertising.
For 40 years, she led and developed this agency, which today specializes in retail and is renowned in Belgium. In 2018, she then decided to hand over the company to two young women, her daughter Julia and her heart-daughter, Florence.
This book traces her professional journey, but also and above all her long process in the transmission of her company to the third generation. This endeavor took more than 5 years. Ulrike shares with us her experiences through the emotional, legal, and financial difficulties she went through to make this transmission successful.
This book is not just for leaders of a family business. It tells the story of a transmission from one generation to the next, from one era to another, with all the joys and challenges that this entails.
